Parekraf Holds Third Batch of Festival Jajanan Jakpreneur 2020

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency held the third batch of Festival Jajanan Jakpreneur 2020. This event is held on December 11-30, 2020 and attended by 150 participants from culinary MSMEs under Jakarta Parekraf Agency.

Jakarta Parekraf Agency's Creative Economy Division Head, Helma Dahlia stated, Festival Jajanan Jakpreneur 2020 is held virtually and no longer uses catalog like the previous event for its transaction, but via rasamantap.com marketplace.

"This marketplace is developed by Jakpreneur under Parekraf Agency. We collaborate with them," she mentioned, Tuesday (12/15).

According to her, gross income from the first batch reached Rp 93 million, then Rp 68.5 million for the second batch. On the third batch, she hoped gross income could reach above Rp 100 million.

"Because there are more MSMEs who participated in this batch, then promotion and publication through social media becomes more intense, and purchasing becomes easier since it uses marketplace platform," she explained.

Festival Jajanan Jakpreneur 2020 i s held to assist Jakpreneurs to sell their products and make them known in a wider community thus they can continue to exist and survive amid of pandemic situation.

"We want to support our MSMEs to obtain more income and introduce their products thus they can expand their market and encourage other participants to sell their products online," she conveyed.
